Apartment Design Approved for Historic Warehouse Conversion
The Chapman Stables warehouse conversion is one step closer to fruition. Developer Four Points received design concept approval from the Historic Preservation Review Board to build 110 apartments in the former Brass Knob warehouse and a five-story addition in an empty lot behind it, UrbanTurf reports. Before Four Points can move forward on construction at 57 N St NW, it must resolve the HPRB's issues with Studio 27 Architecture's design for a new third floor on the warehouse. [UT]
