Back to Square One for Frager's Hardware
Plans to reopen Frager’s Hardware at its original Capitol Hill spot fell apart late last week. The building, damaged by a four-alarm fire in June 2013, was bought by Roadside Development, with the plan to rebuild as part of a mixed-use development. Frager’s would be a long-term tenant. But both sides told the Washington Business Journal that the deal was off, saying they couldn’t agree on issues related to the existing conditions of the site before the contract expired. Frager’s will continue to look for a development partner. [WBJ]
