Bible Museums, Charter Schools: Must Be Permit Season
Among the most recent permits filed is the foundation for the $400M Museum of the Bible project. Most of the museum will be inside the former Washington Design Center, but a portion will be demolished and reconstructed. The interior of the former Buchanan School will also be demolished to prepare for its conversion to condos, the Washington Business Journal reports. Non-load-bearing walls, plumbing fixtures, sprinkler piping, mechanical systems, ductwork, interior plaster, dropped ceilings and light fixtures will all be removed. 769 Morton St NW: Interior renovation of single-family home
601 K St NW: Resurfaced and re-striped parking lot
