Bisnow Exclusive: Monday's New Tenant
Despite a sluggish office market and heavy competition from other Rosslyn buildings, Monday Properties has scored another 80k SF lease for its Twin Towers in Rosslyn, Bisnow has learned, bringing its total leasing to over 250k SF in the last six months. Sands Capital Management has signed for 15-years at 1000 Wilson Blvd, and will move in next February. It's relocating and expanding from space at 1101 Wilson into the top four floors at 1000 Wilson. This is the view from the new digs, our vote for the most incredible office view in the region. Monday will build an expansive and private roof deck atop the 31st floor at 1000 Wilson. (Now we know who'll have the best party on July 4th.) The lease was brokered by Avison Young for the tenant and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Monday on the owner side. Monday has invested over $70M in Twin Tower improvements, including new lobbies, elevators, HVAC systems, and parking garage upgrades. It appears to be paying off.
