Andy Klaff, Two Others Leave Colliers For NGKF’s NoVa Office
A brokerage team from Colliers International has left the firm to join Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s NoVa office. Andy Klaff, Jeff Tarae and Katherine Pelonero will join NGKF’s Tysons office and bring extensive experience in the NoVa market.
Andy will join NGKF as executive managing director after previously leading NoVa brokerage operations at Colliers. He has 26 years of experience and has worked with Prudential Real Estate Investors and Carr Properties, among others.
Jeff is currently a commissioner on the Loudon County Economic Development Commission and also serves as a board member of Tysons Partnership. He will serve as managing director with NGKF, while Katherine comes on board as an associate director.
This isn't the first brokerage team Colliers has lost recently in the DC area. Back in October, John Schlegel and John Lugar left the firm to accept EVP roles in Transwestern's growing tenant advisory division.
