Colliers Makes PMRG's Dave Parker Head Of DC Region
Colliers International has a new leader in the DC area: former PM Realty Group EVP Dave Parker.
Dave will be taking over as regional managing director on March 1, while Colliers' interim regional manager, David Peterson, is helping his fellow Dave ease into the role. Dave will be in charge of 100 employees, and is the new leader for Colliers' growing footprint in the area. At PMRG, Dave managed the company's Northeast region, from DC to Boston. Before that, Dave was SVP at Cassidy Pinkard, a few predecessors removed from present-day Cushman & Wakefield.
Dave will report directly to Eastern region manager Joseph Harbert, who says Dave's "diverse and progressive experience" will serve him well for one of Colliers' most important markets. As evidence of the firm's commitment to growth in DC, it held its annual Americas conference in the Washington Hilton this month (Bisnow was there for part of it).
“The Washington, DC, region is on a trajectory for growth in this highly dynamic commercial real estate market and Colliers commitment to success here is exciting," Dave said in a statement.
