After long and arduous negotiations to build a stadium in Southwest DC's Buzzard Point, DC United appears to be considering a move across the Potomac anyway. Loudoun County—whose thirst for a sports franchise has gone unquenched since its own stadium deal fell through—is trying to woo the MLS team with promises of a cheaper deal and faster construction. DC officials remain confident that the city can reach a signed, sealed, delivered stadium deal with United, the Washington Post reports.
