GW Opens New Science and Engineering Hall
At 500k SF George Washington University’s new Science and Engineering Hall (SEH) is the largest academic science and engineering building in DC. The $275M space features state-of-the-art facilities and programs to help its thousands of students and 140 faculty members to make an even bigger global impact with their research. SEH has a 1k SF “teaching tower,” composed of glass teaching labs stacked at the center of the building on the third to eighth floors; a new career center on the second floor; and space on the seventh and eighth floors that will house faculty and students from the Milken Institute School of Public Health and School of Medicine and Health Science. GW also announced an in-kind grant of software licenses, valued at $30M, from Siemens.
