New Renderings Reveal Future of MLK Library
The renovation for the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in Downtown DC is going before the Historic Preservation Review Board this month, and when it does, it'll have a whole new look. New renderings submitted to the HPRB show a U-shaped auditorium, an open-air staircase and other changes to the historic building at 901 G St NW, Curbed reports. The entire project is expected to cost $208M, and it will go before the Commission of Fine Arts on July 16 and the HPRB on July 23. [Curbed]
