George Vogelei Joins Transwestern From NKF
Transwestern has landed a new agency leasing rep and a new client at the same time.
George Vogelei is coming over from Newmark Knight Frank (which recently dropped the Grubb from its name), where he served as managing director of asset services. Before that he worked as associate director of leasing at Vornado.
“George is an excellent fit for Transwestern,” Transwestern Executive Managing Director Phil McCarthy said in a release. “Case in point, he has already earned a new leasing assignment only a few weeks into his tenure at Transwestern."
The new assignment is the leasing at Harbourside North, a 127K SF trophy office building at 2900 K St. NW in Georgetown. Lano/Armada Harbourside LLC retained Transwestern to manage leasing at the property, which is 94% leased.
CORRECTION, JUNE 13, 4:50 P.M. E.T: Transwestern has been retained to lease and manage Harbourside North. A previous version of this story identified the wrong firm charged with the building. This story has been updated.
