With ramping developments, classy dining and used bookstores, Shaw and Mt. Vernon Triangle are entering a new age.
Shaw Stories
- The New York Times looks at how Shaw has recovered and even gentrified since the tragic riots following Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in 1968.
- The District has solicited proposals for one of Shaw’s central parcels—Parcel 42, which is just across from the Shaw Library at 7th and R streets NW—through a process known as Our RFP, and has received proposals from six different teams.
