Healthcare Real Estate Firm Opens East Coast Regional Office In Northern Virginia
A Chicago-based healthcare real estate company with over 14M SF in its portfolio has established a new East Coast hub in Ashburn, Virginia.
MBRE Real Estate announced Wednesday it is opening its East Coast regional office at 20955 Professional Plaza in Ashburn. The office will be led by Amanda Crabill, previously an Avison Young property manager who managed portfolios for Harrison Real Estate Capital and Velsor Management.
The office will be housed in a three-building, 75K SF medical office park MBRE acquired in an August deal, brokered by Avison Young. It is about 4 miles from the Inova Loudoun Hospital.
MBRE, which says it is the largest private owner of U.S. healthcare properties, has holdings in 38 states totaling over 14M SF. It also provides development, acquisition, leasing and management services.
"As our portfolio continues to grow, it’s important that we expand our network of offices in strategic locations to maintain the exceptional level of service and value that healthcare providers have come to expect from us and that our brand is built upon," MBRE President Peter Westmeyer said in a release.
