Auto Repair Shop Leases Former Ritz Camera Headquarters In D.C. Suburbs
A Prince George's County flex-industrial building that formerly housed a corporate headquarters has landed a new tenant.
Advanced Collision signed a lease for 37K SF of office and warehouse space at 12200 Baltimore Ave. in Beltsville, brokerage firm Edge announced Tuesday. Edge's Kenneth Fellows and Robert Pugh represented the landlord, Bristol Capital.
The tenant specializes in repair, painting services and audio installation for cars, trucks and buses. It services the region from central Maryland to Northern Virginia.
The 107K SF building sits at the intersection of Route 1 and MD 212, less than 2 miles from Interstate 95. It features a combination of warehouse and office space and 250 surface parking spaces.
The building was previously the headquarters of Ritz Camera, a photography retail chain that filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2012 and then shuttered its last store in 2018.
"A significant factor in this real estate decision was to secure a location that was convenient and easily accessible for existing and future customers," Pugh said in a release.
