Paint Manufacturer Inks Prince George's County Industrial Deal
A national paint manufacturer plans to relocate its distribution hub in Prince George's County.
Sherwin Williams signed a lease for 46,438 SF of industrial space at 6401 Virginia Manor Road in Beltsville. Edge Commercial Real Estate Regional Director Kenneth Fellows and partner Rob Pugh brokered the deal on behalf of the building's owner, CWI Limited Partnership.
The 55K SF building features ceiling heights of more than 24 feet and dock loading areas. It had previously been mostly vacant, and the deal brings it to 87% occupancy. The paint manufacturer plans to move 40 employees to the facility from a nearby building it is leaving.
"Sherwin-Williams focused its search in the Prince George's County area to minimize disruption to their existing employees, while also leveraging the outstanding labor demographics of the region," Fellows said in a release.
