Foreign Equity for SW Waterfront?

News last week that Madison Marquette-PN Hoffman's big Wharf project on the Southwest Waterfront will finally break ground in March due to a big equity infusion from an undisclosed partner may have missed an even bigger headline. Multiple experts not involved in projects have speculated to Bisnow that the equity is from a foreign source, just as Qatar came through with a large sum for another game-changing and high-profile DC project, City Center, in 2011.
