Mill Creek Delivers Metro-Adjacent NoVa Project With 628 Units, Harris Teeter, Starbucks
Mill Creek Residential has completed the Modera Avenir Place mixed-use project next to the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro in Vienna, bringing 628 apartments and a wealth of retail to the blooming area.
The project is less than a mile from the newly developed Mosaic District. The units range from studios to two-bedrooms, and it features multiple pools, fitness centers and resident lounges, plus a rooftop garden with a fire pit.
Mill Creek also brings a host of new walkable retail to a submarket that is still largely car-oriented, other than Mosaic. A Harris Teeter grocery store is in the works and projected to open soon, when it will join now-open Starbucks, Orange Theory Fitness, Verizon and District Taco.
This is the latest luxury apartment community from Mill Creek Residential, whose portfolio includes Modera Fairfax Ridge in Fairfax, and Modera Tempo in Alexandria. Last year, Mill Creek acquired the former Italian Embassy at 2700 16th Street NW in the District, with an eye towards converting the building into luxury apartments.
