Chinatown's Pod DC Micro-Hotel

EagleBank provided the construction financing for Pod DC, a 245-room micro-hotel located in the Chinatown/Penn Quarter area, which opened in May. Owned, developed and operated by Modus Hotels, this new Pod DC project models the successful Pod Hotels in Manhattan and Brooklyn. A pioneer in the micro-hotel business, Pod DC offers guests a unique open-walls atmosphere featuring local art and photography to showcase the city, its history and its vibrant surroundings. Fine eateries and efficient open spaces that allow for work or relaxation with expansive views of the area support the affordable micro-hotel concept. Pod DC is the first Pod Hotel outside of New York.
