On the job: At the firm since ’83; managing partner since ’08.
Firm: 51 attorneys in Annapolis, Bethesda, and Frederick, with plans to open DC office this year. Also active in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. 
Memorable project: Represented Foulger-Pratt, Peterson Cos, and Argo Investment in redevelopment of Downtown Silver Spring Urban Renewal Area, a large scale public and private investment.
Current project: Representing Stonebridge-Carras in its public-private projects at Lot 31 in Bethesda and the Bethesda Police Station. Also working with Stonebridge and Bozzuto on Wheaton Metro public-private project. 
Grew up: Brooklyn.
Current home: Chevy Chase.
Why DC: Law school in Chapel Hill, parents in NY, and girlfriend in DC. It was the I-85/I-95 trifecta. 
Schools: University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and UNC (JD).
First job: House painter. 
Job in another life: Fiction writer.
Daily habit: News and politics junkie.
Favorite app: Politico.
Favorite movie: McCabe & Mrs. Miller.
Favorite restaurant: Peter Lugers (Brooklyn).
Favorite band and song: Grateful Dead – Me and My Uncle.
Favorite vacation spot: Neck district of Cambridge, Md., and Costa Rica where family has a condo.
Guilty pleasures: Glen Campbell and Burt Bacharach.
Bucket list: A challenging climb with sons; visit New Zealand; and get back to Alaska for fly fishing.
Family: Married 33 years; two adult sons; and two dogs, one cat, and fish. 
Free time: Golf, fishing, sailing, reading, bridge, napping, and friends. 
Startling fact: Cognitive dissonance of turning 60, but not understanding it.
