Memorable Project: Worked closely with Fairfax County for nearly four years helping prepare the Laurel Hill Redevelopment Plan and General Park Plan in 2004. Our planning and redevelopment efforts transformed the 2,000-plus-acre Laurel Hill property from a prison to a thriving community, which includes the Lorton Arts Foundation, Laurel Hill Golf Course, other parks and open space areas, and the ongoing Laurel Hill Redevelopment.
Current Project: Working on the Union Station Expansion Project. My role is managing VHB’s efforts related to multimodal transportation planning and NEPA compliance. This is a technically complex and important project for the region that will occur over the next 15-20 years.
