Title: Executive managing director of tenant representation, Cushman & Wakefield
Job: My focus is primarily on the downtown market although I still do some work in the suburbs. I’m also the primary account manager for six national and two international portfolio accounts.
Years on the job: 15 years in brokerage, 17 in CRE
Memorable Project: Relocating Hanger Orthopedic Group from Bethesda to Austin, TX, back in 2010. The end result was an HQ lease with amazing economics and what was at the time the largest economic incentive package for a transaction of its size to the history of Austin.
Current Projects: We’re out in the market with four, good-sized trophy requirements for companies on the Fortune 500 list.
CRE career: I didn’t really want to work at a local shop and was focused more on trying to land at a large national/international firm, and the only one that wasn’t on a hiring freeze was Equis Corp, so I took a job there in December 2001.
Grew up: Lincoln in western Loudoun County.
Childhood memory: Watching the Redskins beat the Broncos in Super Bowl 22.
Current home: Country Club Hills neighborhood of Arlington, VA.
School: Dickinson College.

Favorite app: Uber.
Favorite movie: Caddyshack.
Favorite restaurant: The best meal I’ve had in DC was at Komi. As far as an everyday type of restaurant I’d have to say Pie-Tanza in Arlington.
Favorite vacation spot: Great View Villa at Half Moon in Jamaica.
Favorite charity: Arlington Free Clinic.
Hidden Talent: I have a pretty good memory. I can remember minute details of deals, conversations, etc. that happened years ago.
Coast, desert or mountain: Coast
Drink of choice: Freshie, it’s a Washington Golf & Country Club specialty.
One thing you couldn’t live without: My phone.
Family: Two kids, a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. We also have a 9-year-old golden retriever.
Hobbies: Golf.
Biggest pet peeve: People that are late.
Startling fact: Was an all-conference football player my freshman year of college. I had never played before but grew up playing soccer and ended up making the team as the kicker.
