Project Update: Park Potomac
Foulger-Pratt's 50-acre Park Potomac complex at Montrose Road and 270 in Potomac is under a flurry of activity, and we caught up with the firm's Lisa Wood to see where things stand. The Perry (above), a two-building, 297-unit apartment complex, is heading toward the finish line with an expected completion date of spring 2015. Foulger-Pratt is going all out with the amenities at the Perry, throwing in a dog-wash station, dog park, and yoga studio to go along with a pool, fitness center, private lounge, and business center.
Down the street, the company is underway with excavation and foundation work for Park Potomac's next office building. The 130k SF Class-A property will include ground-floor retail, an amenitized rooftop, and charging stations in the parking garage; Lisa tells us the second and third floors of the six-story building are already pre-leased. Delivery is expected in January '16. If you'd like to check out the scene for yourself, Lisa tells us Foulger-Pratt is hosting a free food and wine festival at Park Potomac October 25 from 12-4. The development's restaurants will be handing out samples, food trucks will be on site, and retailers will be holding sidewalk sales, with live music pumping in the background.
