Parcel O at the Yards Revealed
Renderings for the interconnected condo and apartment developments at The Yards have been revealed. Parcel O consists of an 11-story, 142-unit condo with ground-floor retail by PN Hoffman, and a two-tower 190-unit apartment complex with retail by Forest City Washington, reports the Washington Business Journal. Two levels of 246 underground parking spaces will serve the residential buildings, designed by Handel Architects and Johnson Fain, respectively. The buildings also feature concrete and glass design to fit in with the Navy Yard Annex aesthetic. Parcel O is currently home to the Trapeze School of New York, which will move to another location within the Yards. Before then, it was the site of Navy Yard Building 137, which has since been demolished.
