The Silver Line’s arrival has helped fuel a development boom that has created cosmopolitan, mixed-use communities to rival those found in D.C. Fairfax recently landed a place on the list of 20 finalists for Amazon’s HQ2 as part of Northern Virginia. But the county still has some filling in to do, some growing pains to endure and some problems to address.
