1801 K St Secures $267M Loan
South Korea-based investor Mirae Asset Global Investments has secured a $267M five-year, fixed-rate loan from MetLife to finance 1801 K St NW (above), reports DC Citybizlist. The transaction, led by JLL’s Jon Goldstein, Wes Boatwright and Mike Yavinsky, is 60% of the $445M purchase price at a 5% cap rate. JLL’s Bill Prutting, Jim Molloy and Jason DeWitt repped Somerset Partners. The 12-story, 570k SF, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed property has new lobbies and elevators, with updated systems.
