A New Look in Crystal City
Just before the slush came on Wednesday, we stopped by Beacon Capital Partners/CIII's newly repositioned Presidential Tower in Crystal City, as the building's leasing broker, Avison Young, showed off the new digs to more than 260 brokers. Here's Avison Young's Nick Gregorios with CIII's Nixon Rich, Beacon's Karen Gentry and Jeffrey Kovach and surprise guest George Washington (who's a lot taller in person).
Avison's Peter Berk (here with Cushman & Wakefield's John Henschel) is on the leasing team with Nick and colleague Dave Millard. He tells us the 345k SF building (at 2511 Jefferson Davis Hwy) will be LEED certified and credits the Gensler design touches and HITT construction work for the building's great new look. Note: In general, George Washington likes all things that make a building LEED certified, except the planting of cherry trees.
We caught up with some of the JLL guys (Yorke Allen, Matt Owens, Brent Mathis, and Tom Cresce), who tell us they're marketing space at 8180 Greensboro Dr (another Beacon building) in Tysons, where three floors will soon become available after Cvent departs.
