ANNE PLANNING/ DEBBIE SPARTIN
Legal eagles Anne Planning and Debbie Spartin were partners at Pillsbury for almost 20 years. Identifying a need for a firm that could address the needs of real estate clients in a cost-effective way, they started their own boutique firm, the aptly named Spartin Planning, almost eight years ago. The pair loves real estate law because both sides of the table are working toward a common goal. Plus, as Anne tells us, real estate folks are simply fun to deal with. She also tells us that elbow grease has helped catapult them to success: “There’s no substitute for hard work and long hours.” Debbie points out that it’s important to keep that work ethic going: “We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we’re still working as hard as we ever have.”
