JULIA SPRINGER
Penzance co-founder Julia Springer is a real business renaissance woman—she's a former Pillsbury lawyer and served as a research economist under Paul Volcker at the Fed. Real estate is where Julia’s experienced a big part of her success, teaming with husband Victor to assemble one of the region’s strongest portfolios, including 3001-3003 Washington Blvd in Clarendon, 1101 Connecticut downtown, and the Watergate office building. The pair and their team has acquired and renovated well over a billion worth of assets, but also donate some of Penzance’s profits to charities such as the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. An avid skier and equestrienne, she tells us she and Victor are also kept busy with their three children.
