LAURIE McMAHON
It seems like every big DC office lease has Laurie McMahon’s name attached to it. (We snapped her last year with colleague Mark Sullivan.) As leasing managing director at Cassidy Turley’s DC office, she’s capable of repping both landlords and tenants, she tells us. She’s also considered the firm’s green expert, being able to rattle off everything from the intricate requirements of LEED ratings to understanding green policy legislation. Laurie started with the firm in 1998 and is credited with growing its property and project management work 400% between 2002 to 2008. Some of the Rutgers grad’s major transactions include repping the landlord/owner when the Justice Department took over 575k SF at Two Constitution Square. She also helped The World Bank Group take 570k SF of office space in multiple DC locations.
