Mitch, Murph & Little O
No, we're not referring to a hot new EDM band, but three rockstars of the DC real estate firmament who, with all they're building, have better moves than Nico & Vinz or Iggy Azalea (ask your kids). A/k/a Vornado's Mitchell Schear, MRP's Bob Murphy, and Carr Properties' Oliver Carr III, the sexy trio will be headlining our DC Office Summit next Tuesday, and explaining, at this critical time for the sector, what moves you should be making. No one under 21 will be admitted.
MRP Realty (that's Murph on the right) is one of the firms leading the new wave of office development, from existing buildings (the firm just purchased 1333 H St NW downtown) to ground-up (it's co-developing 900 G St with ASB). Bob will tell his firm's long-term vision, plus his priceless secrets for how to attract tenants in the still-sluggish DC leasing market.
Oliver (not to be confused with Big O, his 89-year-old power plant of a dad) is actively on the hunt to acquire high-end urban office. The firm will soon reveal redevelopment plans for one of its recent acquisitions—the soon-to-be-former Washington Post HQ site on 15th Street—about which brokers, tenants, and other developers eagerly await word. And Mitchell will talk about his ambitious plans to transform Crystal City into a major tech hub. And lots of other luminaries will speak (and perhaps sing) as well. Click here to join us!
