This Morning at the Willard

Over 550 packed in the Willard for our State of Office event, where Carr Properties chief Oliver Carr III said that many of its projects—large scale developments like the Washington Post site on 15th Street and selective acquisitions like the recent pick-up of 2001 Pennsylvania Ave—are all about "portfolio construction," since going public is in the realm of possibility. As for that Post site, where plans are still in the works, Oliver says the redeveloped project will energize the middle of downtown DC with vibrant retail, trophy office, and a new hotel.
