One of D.C.'s largest law firms is moving a few blocks up Pennsylvania Avenue to anchor a new Boston Properties project.

WilmerHale closed a deal, which had been in the works since the spring, to lease about 288K SF at the 2100 Pennsylvania Ave. NW development, the Washington Business Journal reports

Boston Properties, through a ground lease with George Washington University, plans to redevelop two Foggy Bottom buildings into an 11-story, 482K SF office building with at least 30K SF of ground-floor retail. GWU selected the developer for the project in December 2016. It is one of several joint venture partnerships launched between D.C.-area universities and developers in recent years.

Savills Studley's Tom Fulcher, David Lipson and Adam Brecher represented WilmerHale, the former law firm of special counsel Robert Mueller. The firm aims to move in August 2022 from its current office at 1875 Pennsylvania Ave. NW
