CAQH To Double Footprint With Move To New K Street Office
Healthcare technology nonprofit CAQH is moving to a new office one block down K Street and more than doubling its footprint.
CAQH signed on for 37K SF at LaSalle Investment Management's 2020 K St. NW. It plans to move next summer from its 17K SF office at 1900 K St. NW.
Transwestern's Joe Michel, Tom Hilley and Scott Fetterolf represented LaSalle, while Cushman & Wakefield's Michael Kitcher and John Skolnik represented CAQH.
LaSalle recently renovated the building's lobby and common areas and is in the process of renovating its fitness center and adding a new conference facility and tenant lounge.
“These renovations and new amenities, along with the 9.5-foot finished ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass on the ninth floor, were major draws for CAQH," Michel said in a release. "They were particularly pleased with the lack of barriers in the open floor plan, which will enable the kind of collaborative space that employees need in this technology-focused organization."
In February, JLL signed on to move its D.C. office to the top two floors of the building, occupying 71K SF. Law firm Bookoff McAndrew also recently leased 20K SF in the building.
