Colliers is growing its landlord representation practice in D.C. with three new hires.

The brokerage firm announced Monday it hired Mark Sullivan and Matthew Venos from Cushman & Wakefield and Martha Naughten from Carr Properties

Sullivan joins as an executive vice president. He worked for Cushman & Wakefield, formerly DTZ, since 1994. Venos, who joins Colliers as a senior vice president, began working at Cushman & Wakefield in 2008. The two have represented clients like BlackRock, Prudential and Clarion Partners.

Naughten, who joins as a vice president, has been with Carr Properties since February 2018 and has worked on leasing its Midtown Center project. Prior to that, she worked for Vornado Realty Trust and JBG Smith. In 2016, she won CREBA's Rising Star Award, and this year CREBA named her the top landlord/developer agent in the region, alongside her partner, Kaitlyn Rausse.

The trio will work as a team to focus on landlord representation in the D.C. area. They will report to Matthew Gannon, whom Colliers hired as executive managing director and D.C. market leader in September 2019.

“We've added some of the most accomplished, well-rounded brokers in the area, who will not only strengthen our landlord agency practice but also embody Colliers' values in all they do," Gannon said in a release. "With the addition of this new team, Colliers demonstrates our continued commitment to strategic growth and leading the D.C. region into the future."
