Computer Sciences Corp Takes 62k SF Of Lerner's Planned 1775 Tyson Blvd Tower
Computer Sciences Corp has signed a 62k SF lease at Lerner Enterprises’ 1775 Tysons Blvd, a new trophy office building the family company plans to deliver this spring.
CSC will be relocating its headquarters from 3170 Fairview Park Dr in Falls Church to the trophy office tower in The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II.
Lerner bills the 117-acre site, which includes shopping, residential, office and hotel space, as “the most prestigious commercial address in the Washington, DC Metro region.”
1775 Tysons is a 476k SF, 17-story tower scheduled to come online this spring. Amenities in the building include a fitness center, fine and casual dining, a conference center and LEED Platinum certification.
CSC will be joined by EY (formerly Ernst & Young), which signed a lease last summer for 125k SF to anchor the building. While far-out suburbs in the region continue to stagger, transit-oriented hubs in NoVa have been storming back in recovery mode, and Lerner has taken advantage again.
The company is not as confident in leasing prospects farther out, having sold two office buildings in Fairfax County for a combined $31.1M last month.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Brian Tucker, Moe Hamilton and John Dragelin repped the landlord, while JLL’s Daniel Evans and Robert Anderson repped the tenant.
