Comstock Hires Managing Director From Tishman Speyer
Comstock Holding Cos. has hired a new executive to oversee its more than 1.4M SF of commercial properties.
The real estate firm announced Wednesday it hired Sharon Fitzgerald as managing director in its commercial property management division. She comes from Tishman Speyer, where she worked for 14 years.
Fitzgerald will oversee the management of Comstock's stabilized assets, including 1.25M SF of office space and 185K SF of retail space. The company's portfolio will soon grow, with two new office towers at Reston Station expected to deliver later this year and early next year, respectively.
Comstock also said it plans to break ground on another new building at Reston Station later this year, and it plans to begin the next phase of Loudoun Station's development next year. The two mixed-use projects sit along the Silver Line.
"I am confident that our commercial customer base will benefit from Ms. Fitzgerald’s leadership position within our commercial management group,” Comstock CEO Chris Clemente said in a release. “Sharon’s reputation as a skilled manager and her prior experience managing high-quality real estate directly supports Comstock’s best-in-class approach to managing a growing portfolio of stabilized assets and supports our growth plans for the Commercial Property Management Division.”
