A technology company has signed onto the top floor of the spec office building Federal Realty Investment Trust delivered last year at Pike & Rose.

United Solutions inked a 20,602 SF lease for the 11th floor of the 909 Rose office building in North Bethesda, Federal Realty announced Monday.

The company is currently based at 51 Monroe St. in Rockville, and the lease represents a relocation and an expansion, a Federal Realty spokesperson said. United Solutions has a variety of technological products involving blockchain, artificial intelligence and automation.

“Our success has enabled us to expand our reach, and subsequently, expand our workforce," United Solutions CEO David Nguyen said in a release. "We look forward to growing in a state-of-the-art space and amenity rich neighborhood that will enhance employee morale, recruiting and engagement.”

Federal Realty delivered the 11-story, 212K SF office building last summer, and the REIT moved its own headquarters into the second and third floors. It signed its first tenant in June, a 16K SF lease with advisory firm OneDigital. Last month, it signed an agreement with Industrious to operate a 43K SF coworking space in the building.

JLL's Bernie McCarthy, Andrew Masters and Danny Sheridan are representing the landlord in leasing the building. The latest lease brings it to about two-thirds occupancy.
