Marcus Partners Hires Carr Properties Exec, Looks To Expand D.C. Footprint
A Boston investment firm is looking to continue growing its presence in D.C. with a new hire from one of the region's top developers.
Marcus Partners announced Tuesday it hired Paul Stromberg as senior vice president of asset management.
Stromberg comes from Carr Properties, where he served as senior director of asset management and managed a 2M SF portfolio of office and retail space. He has worked at Carr family companies for the last 18 years.
The hire comes after Marcus Partners in 2017 opened a D.C.-area office in Tysons, led by principal Andrew Dolinsky. The investor in 2018 acquired a Dupont Circle office building, and in 2017 it bought an office building in Falls Church. It also owns an office property in Rockville.
“Washington, D.C. is a top-tier, global real estate investment market," Dolinsky said in a release. "Paul’s seasoned skills and broad network will provide us a strong advantage in executing business plans, further establishing our investment in multiple property types in the region, and continuing to grow our presence in the region."
