USDA Looking To Move From Alexandria Office
The US Department of Agriculture could be shrinking the footprint of its Food and Nutrition Service, which occupies 184k SF in Alexandria.
The GSA is looking for a 131k SF space to move the agency to when its lease expires in May, the Washington Business Journal reports.
The agency currently leases space at Park Center, an office complex at 3101 Park Center Drive in Alexandria, owned by an affiliate of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance. The GSA is offering $5.1M for a landlord able to provide a more flexible space that will suit the agency's increasingly collaborative workflow.

The GSA is also seeking a new home for the TSA, which signed a lease in Alexandria that was later voided by a federal judge. [WBJ]
