Fish Tales!
We're wrapping up our Fish Tales series today with a few more great catches, including this bluefish Lincoln Property Company's Joe Falcone caught while vacationing with JLL's Bill Prutting and family in Nantucket. (Bill's and Joe's sons are fellow seniors at Landon.) Joe also tells us his LPC retail team is busy after a good trip to ICSC last week.
West End Capital Group's Jimmy Barter caught this 65-pound catfish last summer in Shreveport, La., on a trip with some friends from UVA. Jimmy says West End had an exciting 2013 (its first in existence), closing three deals with one more under contract—totaling $45M in total transaction volume. He also says West End's investor base has grown significantly in the past year (that fish appears to have had quite a growth spurt as well), with over 100 high-net-worth individuals investing more than $10M in equity to date.
