The Money Men
All those cranes across DC had to be financed somehow, right? That's why we're excited to welcome Bank of Georgetown chief lending officer Tim Veith (right, with colleague Joshua Phillips) to our 5th Annual Washington Real Estate Summit next Wednesday at the Wardman Park. Tim oversees BOG's entire commercial loan portfolio and is a former bank CEO, having led Wheaton-based Equitable Bank before it was purchased by BB&T in '02.
MetLife acquisitions guru Anthony Balestrieri will join Tim, Cassidy Turley's Bill Collins, First Potomac CEO Doug Donatelli, and Fundrise founder Ben Miller on our Money panel next week. He's helped the firm make a big splash in DC recently with buys such as the massive 555 12th St in the East End. More info on our May 7 summit.
