Check Out DC’s Most Comprehensive Outdoor Art Map

Beautiful artwork abounds throughout DC, even without visiting a museum. Breathtaking murals, sculptures and other works of art dot the landscape; now there is a way to find them easily. Local resident Michael Antonucci has created and shared a Google Map of 219 items throughout the city, courtesy of the BadWolf DC blog. Antonucci hopes the map will serve as a community project and has invited requests for submissions to be included.
Marilyn Monroe Mural by John Bailey
Some highlights include the Marilyn Monroe Mural, located at 2604 Connecticut Ave NW, and the Man on Fire mural at 1611 L St NE. Although he doesn’t claim it to be a comprehensive listing, it represents the most detailed attempt to date. [BAD]
