Full-Scale Redevelopment Planned For Goose Creek Golf Club

Kettler plans to shut down the 18-hole Goose Creek Golf Club on Dec. 31 and launch a full-scale redevelopment by the middle of next year.

The developer acquired and remodeled the 6,410-yard, par 71 golf course in 2000. Redevelopment plans were approved by the Loudon Board in May and call for 33 single-family detached homes, 125 townhomes, a 6k SF restaurant, a 132-room hotel and a nine-hole golf course, the Washington Business Journal reports. For the month of December, course manager KemperSports is offering a special promotion in which guests can simply pay the $12 cart fee to play the course.

This is the latest of several projects in the Kettler development pipeline. Just last month, the company broke ground on the Highgate at Metropolitan Mile, a 395-unit luxury apartment project in Tysons. [WBJ]
