Johns Hopkins Kicks Off Another Year
Thursday night, we hopped over to Beacon Bar & Grill in the Beacon Hotel, where the Johns Hopkins' Edward St. John real estate program held a networking event. We snapped the director of the part-time program, Chuck Schilke, with students Justin Bishop and Tyler Plante. New this year: collaboration with the finance department of JHU, as well as an added focus on infrastructure. The master's degree JHU offers is actually in both real estate and infrastructure, Chuck says.
We also found US Bank's Fran Doherty with John Kirkland, an alum of the program who's come full-circle—he's now a faculty member. John has his own real estate consulting firm specializing in property management.
