McArthurGlen Returns to North America

It’s been 16 years since Julia Calabrese left Cushman & Wakefield’s DC office (from which she ran the Mid-Atlantic) to join McArthurGlen in London. As CEO of the outlet mall developer and operator, she’s built a company that does three billion euros (that’s $4.1B, or two pairs of jeans from the Bass Outlet) of business a year. It appears we’ve lost her to London for good. It’s home, she says. The former Arlington resident now has a place in Knightsbridge, just behind Harrods, though she wouldn’t mind getting a second home in Italy and perhaps one to visit back in the States.
