Paul Stuart's CEO on CityCenter
NYC-based luxury apparel retailer Paul Stuart is the latest to join CityCenter's stacked list of high-end retailers. CEO Michael Ostrove (left, with jazz musician John Pizzarelli) tells us the company chose the Hines development as its first DC location (it also has outposts in Chicago and Japan) because of the "flagship ambiance" CityCenter delivers. The location, which will open up next spring and take up almost 10k SF, will include lots of natural light, something the other Paul Stuart shops don't have, Michael says. Hugo Boss, Burberry, Kate Spade, and TUMI are among the retailers signed up at CityCenter—the latter two have already opened up shop. (If you're in a CityCenter office, spilling something on your shirt just got a whole lot less traumatic.)
