Target To Open Small-Format Store In Cleveland Park
Target is bringing its urban-style small-format concept to Northwest D.C.
The retailer signed a 23K SF lease this week to open in the former Petco storefront at 3505 Connecticut Ave. NW in Cleveland Park, the Washington Business Journal reports.
At Sam's Park & Shop, a Federal Realty-owned retail center, Target will join a tenant roster that includes General Nutrition Center, California Tortilla, Capital One Bank, Weygandt Wines and Paragon Thai Restaurant.
The lease continues Target's expansion of urban-style stores throughout the D.C. area. The company in May signed a deal to open a 42K SF location in Ballston, anchoring Saul Centers' 491-unit development. It previously opened in Bethesda, College Park and Rosslyn.
