The second phase of Metro's Silver Line, expected to open in 2020, will complete the decades-long effort to connect the D.C. Metro system to Dulles International Airport. It will also bring Loudoun County onto the transit network, with two additional stations beyond the airport.

The stations will not only serve as transit nodes for commuters, they are poised to act as hubs of mixed-use development. Loudoun County has envisioned high-density development around the stations, and developers have filed plans for thousands of residential units and millions of square feet of office space.

Bisnow wants to know your thoughts on the major addition to the D.C. region's transit network. Will it fundamentally change commuting patterns in the Northern Virginia suburbs? Will it spur as much development as planners hope and draw office tenants to the area?

Take this survey, and let us know your thoughts.
