More Photos From Power Women
Bisnow's Power Women event was last week in Crystal City, but we're still celebrating the rise of female entrepreneurs in tech. Zoobean co-founder Jordan Lloyd Bookey was one of our winners. She, along with her husband, Felix, launched a service where parents could get personalized recommendations for children's books.
SNOBSWAP co-founder Elise Whang was also named one of our Power Women. Her company, which she launched with her sister, offers shoppers an online marketplace where they can buy affordable designer clothing and accessories from boutiques and people's own closets.
We also snapped Blackstone Counsel's Frank Blackstone, who's GC for over 25 tech companies and professional services firms. (He's in the process of selling one of his government contracting clients.) He's with Statistics.com's Janet Dobbins and Solidifi's Mark Chapin. Janet's Arlington company provides online statistics education, and Mark recently sold his fourth company and is now chief valuation officer for Toronto-based real estate appraisal company Solidifi. (Janet and Mark are also high school buds from Richmond.)
