MasterCard Buys Arlington Firm
MasterCard scooped up Arlington-based Applied Predictive Technologies for a cool $600M yesterday. APT’s Test & Learn platform helps companies tailor investments and uses analytics to design, measure and calibrate marketing, merchandising, operations and capital initiatives. MasterCard Advisors president Kevin Stanton (above) says companies need analytics that are easy to use. The acquisition has some regulatory hurdles to clear but it should close in Q2.
