ThreatConnect Raises Series B Round
Arlington-based ThreatConnect raised a $16M Series B round, with SAP National Security Services leading the round and Grotech participating again. The cybersecurity company, which developed a Threat Intelligence Platform, will use the money to increase its market penetration globally. CEO Adam Vincent says the company will now demonstrate to Fortune 2500 organizations and large government agencies the difference an enterprise approach to cybersecurity can make.
The company’s threat intelligence platform is programmable by outside developers, connects users to one another for collaboration and acts as the brain for other systems. ThreatConnect also recently released an open source workbench to freely share applications with each other, choose and modify applications and speed up solution development through plug-and-play activities. SAP NS2 will also work with ThreatConnect on a joint version of the product on SAP HANA, an in-memory database and analytic platform.
